Course Overview
This course is designed to equip participants with advanced skills in electrical diagnostics, including component identification, testing, and troubleshooting. Over two intensive days, attendees will delve into topics such as CAN bus networks, complex circuit diagrams, and deciphering diagnostic trouble codes and Electronic Control Units (ECUs). Ideal for those who have completed the Foundation Electrics Course or are experienced diagnostic technicians seeking to enhance their proficiency and progress further in their careers. This course covers Foundation recap, Identifying and testing components including sensors, Introduction to CAN bus, Fault finding, Understanding DTC's, Live testing using a multimeter, Live testing using a oscilloscope, Introduction to fuel injectors, Introduction to ECUs.
Eligibility Requirements
This course is suitable for anyone who has completed foundation electrics or is already a diagnostic tech who may be looking to progress further.
Knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical circuits.
Accreditation
Technicians can obtain RHM accreditation. This certification confirms their skills and competence in vehicle electrical systems.
Course Duration
The course duration is 3 days, consisting of 2 days theory and 1 day assessment.

Three-day course: Cost per candidate £750 + VAT.
